I've moved up to the north shore to Waimea Point, Three Tables beach, and am staying at the Backpackers hostel http://www.backpackers-hawaii.com right across from the beach http://www.driveguidemagazines.com/oahu_kaena_kahuku.html
I plan to spend my time on the beach, in the water and did a do bit of hiking up to the Waimea waterfalls.
