I said my goodbyes (Paula has decided to stay longer in L.A. and has a job working in the hotel at reception) and headed to Hawaii.
On arrival I got the bus down to Waikiki, just south of Honolulu to the Polynesian Hostel Beach Club on the island of Oahu.

The hostel is just around the corner from the Zoo and beach at the bottom of Diamond Head park.
