Friday night we left San Francisco around 9.30pm and drove through the night to wake up at Gulch Lake in Nevada for sunrise. We had breakfast and went swimming. We then drove to Elko for lunch, a real sample of middle Americana! lots of 50s style buildings and everywhere seemed to be closed except for the casino, that evening I think we stopped of at some hot springs.
