After a cracking night’s sleep we wandered around the museum and had some lunch downtown. After a spot of meandering around the town we went back to the backpackers for some dinner then headed out to the Backbenchers bar behind the parliament buildings to meet up with Sophie’s mate Mike who was also going to the Rugby. Sophie and Mike used to work together in a recruitment agency in Edinburgh.
The game was quite good; however the crowd took it all very seriously, with almost a solemn atmosphere in the stadium. The final score was Wellington 39 Waikato 18. Kerry will have been pissed off about this!! We headed back to the bar in the backpackers then off to bed.
