Said goodbye to Graham and went and collected a hire car which Sophie and I will be using over the next couple of days. Drove to Milford Sound on the west coast via Te Anau where we stooped for lunch. We arrived at our destination after stopping for a few walks and having drove through avalanche warning areas.
We boarded the boat which we are spending the night and set off for a cruise as we checked into our dorm room. We anchored for the night and were able to go out in a smaller boat for a look at the wildlife in the area, where we were able to see seals and wild penguins.
