We left Nadi at in the morning for the bus trip to get to Nananu-i-ra, an island 10 minutes boat ride from the north shore of the main island. Arrived at the wharf with our groceries as we decided to save some money and do our own cooking.
Once we arrived on the island we got checked into our dorm room and started to explore this tropical island with a size of 3.5km http://www.nananuislandlodge.com
Sophie went diving twice and swam with some sharks (very small sharks!!) and bought a fish from a local fisherman for our tea one night, however she was unable to perform the cleaning of the said fish and it came to me to do the deed. Apart from that we lived on instant noodles and rice.
