As we were getting on the bus I dropped my shoulder bag and managed to break my digital camera which annoyed me greatly, I will try to get it fixed on my return to Auckland. Our first stop on the bus was at the hot water beach. Here you can hire shovels from the local cafe and dig a hole on the beach and watch it fill with hot water from underground springs, you could then go paddling or just sit in it. We then went to Cathedral Cove but as it was raining we did not go for a walk. We stopped that night in Whitianga where we all went out for diner and all had burgers which were so big you had to cut them in half and share them so it worked out quite a cheap meal.
