Kiwi Experience, New Zealand

We head off to do some Zorbing which is where you climb into a big hamster ball and throw yourself down a hill, we had our Zorb's filled with water and sent down a zig-zag course which was great fun. I then went on to do a Swoop, this is where you have two poles about 45 metres high separated by about 10 meters, strung between the poles is a harness which hangs about 2 metres from the ground, you climb into a sleeping bag type thing and are then hoisted backwards to a height of 40 metres. It is at this point that you have to pull the rip cord to release yourself so you travel in a pendulum type swing, but by the time you reach the bottom of the arc you are doing 125kph!! you just swing backwards a forwards to a few minutes. There are some truly awful pictures of me doing this!! Sophie did not do the swoop as she is a girl.
